I’m a frugal person. I’ve practiced frugal living most of my life. In fact, frugal living is a way of life for me. It’s my normal.
For those that think frugal living means cheap living, no … that’s not what it means. There’s a difference in being frugal and being a tightwad. I’ve been a tightwad, by the way.
A tightwad uses and reuses and thinks in term of cheap. Many times in life I’ve had to live as a tightwad. It’s a good thing to know how to do when you have to.
Frugal living means living within your means, within your particular income and financial circumstances. It’s different for everyone, since we all makes different amounts of money and might have different financial situations.
A person just starting out living the frugal life will likely have more bills, more debt, that they need to pay off. A person who’s been living a frugal life will likely have less debt and less to pay off, so they have more money to work with even if they make less income.Save Money Shopping When You Use Print Coupons Click To Tweet
I believe we should be good stewards of the income God blesses us with, regardless of the level of income. There are many ways to do this, and one way for my family is to print coupons for saving money on groceries.
Using print coupons allows us to save money on whatever the coupon is for, and sometimes it also allows us to try something new and different that we wouldn’t normally buy without a printable coupon.
Manufacturers provide coupons to consumers for basically those two reasons – the consumer saves money on items they buy plus if it’s something they wouldn’t normally buy, they might continue to buy it… meaning the manufacturer has a new customer. It’s a win win for both the buyer and the seller.
So, just how much can you save shopping by using print coupons? It varies from a tiny bit to a load of money. It all depends on what you buy, how you shop, the kinds of groceries you buy, etc. I personally have saved well over $100 on groceries buying trips by using print coupons, but there have been times that I’ve saved very little with coupons. It just all depends on your own grocery list.
Also the more time you take looking for sales and using printable coupons to match the sales, the more money you will save when shopping. I’ve gotten free stuff this way and had the store actually owing me money. If you don’t get a weekly ad paper in your mail, you can look online for the stores you shop at to see what their weekly ad is. You save money from the weekly sales plus if you have coupons for the sale items, you save more.
If your store has a double coupon day or a triple coupon day, you can rake in even more savings when shopping.
Some stores also have deals where you get so and so free if you buy this or that. That’s also another good time to look for coupons to use. More savings.. it all adds up!
Some folks will say they don’t have time to look for coupons and print coupons out to use. Hogwash! It doesn’t take that long! Take a few minutes and save yourself some money. 🙂
Okay, so take a look at these printable coupons. This is a new list of the latest print coupons. Select the coupons that you want, print them, clip them, go shopping, hand the cashier the coupons at the checkout, and see how much money you can save on groceries. 🙂
